Wooden Mum Heart

This is one of my personal favourites and is the perfect gift for Christmas, Mother’s Day, a birthday or just to let your Mum know how much you love her!  I struggled to pull together a design that I was happy with when making this as I wanted elegant rather than fussy and also something that would appeal to Mums of all ages.  Then someone said to me “what would your Mother like?” and this gorgeous heart was born from that question.  The heart in the picture is decorated with a stunning rose gold metallic vinyl and is finished in a pale pink wash.
 
Made from solid wood, the heart has a hanging loop made from natural, handmade jute twine.  It also looks just as good propped against a shelf or mantle.  Please be aware that, as these are natural wood hearts, you can expect some marks and knots in the wood that occur naturally.
