Hello!

Welcome to Gillys Frillys!  I have been a passionate crafter ever since my Mum taught me to sew when I was around 6 years old, using her old hand Singer sewing machine and scraps of fabric. The majority of my crafts nowadays are card structures and lanterns, some whimsical and some more "grown-up". Many of them can be lit up which gives them a whole new dimension after dark!

I am always adding to my collection and, unless specifically requested, I seldom make 2 things the same as I love handcrafting unique items.  Inspiration often strikes when I'm out on my bike, Simone, and I see the beautiful colours and textures that Mother Nature kindly bestows on us.  My other passion is storytelling and, as I craft, I weave stories around my creations (like the fairies and mythical birds who inhabit some of my whimsical houses).  You may even be lucky enough to find a little card in your parcel telling you the story behind your purchase............
